Shower of Herring Restaurant at Melfort Village

Established in 1987, the Shower of Herring restaurant has become a very well respected restaurant in the Oban Argyll area of Scotland with customers travelling from all parts of Scotland to sample the exquisite menu.

The menu offers a choice of local fresh produce as well as other traditional foods associated with Scotland. Light lunches and children’s meals are also
catered for as well as vegetarian meals. Delicious food and a warm welcome is guaranteed to all.

Opening hours are as follows:

Sunday – Friday 12.30 – 2.30pm & 6.00-11.00pm
Saturday 6.00- 11.00pm
CLOSED ALL DAY TUESDAY

To cater for our guest’s varied tastes and needs, we offer several different “Themed” nights throughout the week:-

SUNDAY LUNCHTIME: Traditional Sunday Lunch. Two Courses £12.30; Three Courses £14.95. Child Portions available.
MONDAY EVENING: Three Course meal chosen from Special Monday Menu. Two Courses £16.95; Three Courses £19.95; Main Course only £15.00
