Shower of Herring Restaurant at Melfort Village

Established in 1987, the Shower of Herring restaurant has become a very well respected restaurant in the Oban Argyll area of Scotland with customers travelling from all parts of Scotland to sample the exquisite menu.

Patrick and Pam O'Donnell took over the Shower of Herring at the beginning of November 2011 and look forward to extending a warm welcome to you. You are welcome to drop in for just a drink in their comfortable bar/lounge area where they have a wonderful selection of drinks icluding Loch Fyne Ales and Cairn O Mohr wines.

Winter Opening Hours

Monday, Thursday, Friday
12noon – 2.30pm , 6pm – 11pm
Last food orders 8.45pm

 Saturday & Sunday
12noon – 11pm
Full menu served 12 - 4pm then from 6pm -8.45pm
Hot & cold beverages and cakes available all day

 At the moment the Shower of Herring is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but in the near future, they are hoping to open 7 days a week.
