Chapter 5: Pitch and Putters

Bramble Bear had never played pitch and putt before, but Bonnie handed him a little golf club.

“It’s just like mini golf!” she said. “Try to hit the ball into the hole in the grass.”

Bramble took a deep breath and swung—PING! The ball soared, bounced, and rolled... straight into the hole!

“A hole in one!” Fergus cheered.

They spent the afternoon laughing and playing. Fergus got his ball stuck in a bush. Bonnie accidentally hit hers into a puddle. Bramble Bear got better and better each time.

“I think I’ll join the Bear Open Championship!” Bramble joked.

After the game, they all got an ice cream from the village shop.
